Why I started Pynacle
My whole career has been about people and performance, and how tightly the two are linked.

My whole career has been about people and performance, and how tightly the two are linked.
I started out as an operator, training in hotel management at the K Club, one of Ireland's most exclusive five-star properties, and working through to the 2006 Ryder Cup. I led teams there regularly and worked across every department — which taught me how a whole organisation fits together, and how much each department, and the person leading it, shapes the experience your people and your guests actually have.

Later, at Kara Change Management, a strategy and culture consultancy, I worked with blue-chip organisations to help big change stick. It was in the culture work that the gap became clear: businesses measuring how their people felt but never acting on it, and leaders who wanted to help but didn't know how. The opportunity was hiding in plain sight — improving the employee experience is a genuine win-win: better for people, who thrive in their work, and better for the business, with a more productive team that looks after customers and is far less likely to leave.
So I founded Pynacle with a bigger goal in mind: to change how the world sees the workplace, and to prove that when people and performance thrive together, anything is possible.
